You can play DVDs, AVI, ASF, WMV, WMA, MP4, MOV, 3GP, MKV, DivX, WAV (including DTS), AAC, AC3, FLV, RMVB and more. And MPC-HC supports both physical and software DVDs with menus, chapter navigation, and subtitles.

LAV Filters have been updated to version 0.79.2-19-g2bf67, and MPC Video Renderer to version 0.8.6.2282. The “Default Style” subtitle option has been renamed to “Override Default Style” for clarity. It now only affects the “Default” style, with a new option added to override all embedded styles in SSA/ASS subtitles. The setting is now disabled by default to ensure correct subtitle rendering. Mouse settings have been moved to a new Mouse options page, and related settings have been reset. The modern volume slider now scales with toolbar buttons. Several small fixes and improvements have been made.
