It can currently encode YUV422 and RGB sources. You can code YUV420, but it’s just released and needs more testing. Yuv420 may not be compatible with other versions. Decompression (decoding) speed (especially multithreading) is excellent, even better than the HUFFYUV multithreading version. Features include adequate real-time HD capture speed due to multithreading and assembly language, better progressive source compression ratio than Huffyuv (predicted median) , and more. UtVideo generally works well on Microsoft Windows 10,8,8.1,7 on 32-bit or 64-bit operating systems/platforms.
